The activity of Ultracongelados Antártida, specialized in the prawn market, started in 1998.

After starting to work uniquely with wild prawns, the aquacultured prawns were gradually introduced, being nowadays our best product.

Our company has modern logistic and manufacturing facilities placed in Burgos (Spain), homologated according to EEC directives for food industries. The human team of Antártida is our main asset, highly qualified professionals, continuosly trained.

The keys of our commercial success are, apart from the special care paid to paid to quality of our products and the good price, the total dedication to satisfy our customers' needs.

In August of 2002 Ultracongelados ANTARTIDA shareholders' have reached an agreement with Pescanova Group for the sale of 100% equity of ANTARTIDA. This agreement foresees the maintenance-continuity of the present management team of Antartida, guaranteeing the independence and continuity of its industrial and commercial policy.
